Less than a mile from the center of Old Forge, nestled among the trees overlooking First Lake Channel are "The Narrows" Housekeeping Cottages. Each cottage has a pleasant combination living room with picture window and kitchenette, two bedrooms with double beds/bunk bed and a sofa in the living area. Each cottage sleeps four or five and all have automatic heat, bathroom with shower, refrigerator, gas stove, cable TV, dishes, cooking utensils, blankets and pillows.
If you have your own boat, docking is available on a limited basis by advance reservation.
Spring, Summer & Fall
Indulge in swimming, boating, fishing, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, picnicking, shopping or just sit back and experience the peace and quiet that surrounds you.
The guests have use of a large sundeck over looking the swim area. Docking facilities are available for those who wish to bring their own boat by reservation only. Fishing is always a favorite right off the dock.

There are cottages are located at the water's edge and
others in a wooded like setting, all of which have outside fireplaces and picnic
tables. There is also a play area for children. Canoes and
paddleboats are available for our guests to use.
Enjoy the scenic wonderland and take part in the
many activities available, ice skating, down hill or cross country skiing, snowshoeing,
ice fishing, hunting big and small game in season. Remember snow-tubing is always a
favorite at McCauley Mountain for young and old alike. For those of you who enjoy
snowmobiling, you can ride right from your door to Trail #4! Enjoy over 500 miles of
groomed snowmobile trails! We also have plenty of room for trailer parking.
